-Please don't forget that we have track clean-up Tuesday, right after school. All members are supposed to help, unless you are a senior. We will hopefully be done by 3:30 if everyone shows up to help. You may get sweaty and/or dirty, so dress accordingly.
-Congratulations to everyone who participated in the state meet. We had many great results, with Joe DeVries winning the pole vault and Michael placing fourth. Anna placed second in the girls vault, while Brianna placed in the shot put and placed second in the discus. Sydnei placed fifth in both the 100 and 200, and Caitlin placed ninth in the high jump. Reyho placed 7th in the triple jump and Torre placed second in the 800. The girls 4x400 team of Sydnei, Katie, Christy, and Gabby placed 7th and had the third fastest time in school history. The boys 4x400 team of Chase, Jalen, Ryan, and Tyler placed 7th with the second fastest time in school history. Jalen also bested his school record and placed 4th in the 400. -The track banquet is Thursday, May 23, 5:00-7:00, in the cafeteria. Find more information on the "Announcements" page. We will need some people to bring desserts.

-Great job at the Regional meet as the women placed second and the men third. We had many strong performances and will be taking a good number of athletes to the state meet! Congrats to Jalen Ware in the 400, Brianna Heilsnis in the discus, Caitlin Muddiman in the high jump, and the boys 4x200 for all winning their events! -Congrats to those who competed in the Wake County Championships! We had many great results as the girls placed 3rd and the boys placed 7th. Brianna Heilsnis set the meet record in the discus. Torre Moser bettered one of the state's top times in the 800, Mihret Coulter had a strong, regional qualifying time in the 1600, the boys 4x200 qualified for regionals, Jalen Ware qualified for regionals in the 400, and Cailtlin Muddiman qualified in the high jump.
